Dr. Ahmed holds Board Certification in Family Practice and has been practicing in Texas since 2008. Dr. Ahmed strongly believes in personalized care and applies to everyday practice.

Dr. Ahmed did his Residency from University of Texas-Huston, Family Medicine Residency Program. After completed Family Medicine he have done 1 year of Geriatric Fellow ship with University of Illinois- Urbana-Champaign. During the residency and fellowship Dr. Ahmed was interested in chronic disease management and took care of acute issue in the urgent care setting. With his experience in acute and chronic disease management he works very closely with his patients to understand their medical needs that includes disease such as diabetes, hypertension, infectious disease, obesity, osteoporosis, thyroid disease, cancer, and heart disease. Dr. Ahmed also received a certification in chronic disease management during his residency training.
