Meet Dr. Ahmed
Dr. Ahmed completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center- Houston. He went on to complete his fellowship from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne Carle Foundation Hospital in Geriatrics.
Wanting to practice in Texas, Dr. Ahmed worked as a Primary Care and Urgent Care physicains, along with being the Director to Home Base Primary Care at the VA Hospital in Temple, TX. Dr. Ahmed moved back to Houston to work with Harris Health for 2 years. Than merging with UT Physicians for the next 3 years as faculty members for the Department of Internal Medicine and Family Practice.
In 2016 Dr. Ahmed decided to open his own practice- Grand Medical Clinic in Cinco Ranch, Katy, Texas.
Dr. Ahmed is certified to manage a majority of health care concerns, including chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, respiratory infections, and allergies.
In his spare time Dr. Ahmed enjoys gardening, spending time with his family and watching movies.
He is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi.
Why Grand Medical Clinic?
Dr. Ahmed opened Grand Medical Clinic in 2016. Being a Primary Care doctor requires having a passion for one’s patient alongside an in-depth knowledge, caring for patients from ages 10 to the elderly. Our goal at Grand Medical Clinic is to provide each patient with personalized care. We understand each patient is different along with their needs and concerns. Dr. Ahmed provides personalized counseling to his patients, imparting them with the tools and information they need to take control and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
We provide preventative care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments and screening tests. Also managing chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, hypertension, infectious diseases and minor surgical procedures.
Dr Ahmed often coordinates treatment and care with other subspecialists. Recently offering onsite Gastroenterologist and Pain Management under same roof for the easiness of the patient.
